Jnana
Jnana simply means 'Self-Knowledge' that is knowledge about our true nature as well as our purpose in life, Knowing this itself will not help. This knowledge shall be applied to oneself; and has to be assimilated i.e. Jnana should become Vijnana, that means self-knowledge shall lead one to the logical end or conclude (ones’ true nature) in realizing full potential or in understanding ones true nature, various groups/religions elaborate the true nature and purpose in their sacred texts.
Fortunately, the true nature and purpose, by and large, are identical and same in all religions i.e. true nature of soul is immortal and indestructible as per Hindu, Christian and Islam faiths. The ultimate purpose is also same in all the religions.
